What is Encore Thrift?
We are a small (425 sq. ft.), family owned and operated, all-around secondhand store in Shippensburg PA.
Where are you located?
We are located at 37 E Garfield St, Shippensburg, PA 17257 - inside the Thought Lot in Studio 8
What are your hours?
We are currently open noon to 7, Tuesday through Saturday (consistent with the posted Thought Lot business hours.)
What kind of items do you have?
We pride ourselves on having a little bit of everything, provided it fits inside or just outside our studio space. A large amount of our inventory are clothes, shoes and accessories, but we also see some household and kitchen items, tools, some electronics, jewelry, health, beauty, sports, and fitness items, a small selection of books, collectibles, knick-knacks, and seasonal items. We also have some larger furniture, outdoor items, and niche specialty interest items.
Our clothes range from casual to work-appropriate styles in standard sizing, as well as some juniors and plus sizes. We do not typically have children's clothing or maternity items.
Where do you get your items?
Auctions, local private sales, occasional drop-off items (see below in regards to donated items), and consignment.

Is this a charity thrift store?
Full disclosure, we are not a non-profit entity, and are not directly connected with a charitable organization. We will not turn down items brought into us, under the notion that we are not able to classify them as charitable donations and cannot provide appropriate tax write-off documentation for you. As an alternative, we encourage considering our consignment arrangement (detailed above.) With that said, we are exploring ways to give back to the community in the future.
